![]() Had to post this incredible caterpillar! Wow! If you doubted God exists ... see the beauty, notice the details, look at the design, and there's symmetry too! And this is but one insect in a vast variety of amazing insects. Then add to this the complexity of humans, animals, birds, amphibians, aquatics, reptiles, food, herbs, spices, flowers, plants, trees, elements, fossils, rocks, and the solar system. Kinda makes you marvel, huh?

The African Skimmer has a bill structure that is one of a kind. The lower bill is much longer than the upper bill, and flattened sideways like scissor blades. African skimmers fly in lines over calm waters, and dip their lower bills in the water to feed. When the bill touches a fish, the skimmer snaps its mouth shut. They feed mostly at dawn and dusk and have good night vision. |
