THERE IS STILL PLENTY TO DO BEFORE GOING TO PRINT (hopefully by Nov.): • Fix kerning on chapters 1-7. • Make content pages, bibliography, glossary, and index for all chapters. • Fix header titles in chapters 1-5. • Print out GRAYSCALE of book and proofread once more. • Purchase ISBNs (International Standard Book Number). Each format (ebook, print, PDF...) needs its own ISBN. • Register the book with the LoC (Library of Congress). • Add counter scam/ai measures (a pain to do, but necessary in this day and age). • Find a printer, hopefully a Christian printer that drop ships (where the printer will mail out the books). • Print out COLOR proof from printer to check projected look- this is where I will catch color issues. • Proofread COLOR proof one last time. Errors will get through, I'm okay with that. |

This book will be self-published because when I talked with several publishers, they would have most of the control. The goal was and still is to distribute this book to hospitals, veterans, shelters, prisons, jails, schools, and long-term care facilities. With using a publisher, that unfortunately wouldn't happen.
I also need to find an HONEST, competent person who can handle all of the dealings with the book stuff so grandma can retire and have more time for grandkiddos and to make some Scripture and inspirational paintings, if that continues to be where the Holy Spirit leads.
