So I needed a change of pace and have been working on the Chapter 5 cover page. Here is the rough draft. I still need to add the colored background and scribbles to each image.
I may move things around or add things or omit some lines to make it more readable. The book size is 9 x 12 so things that look 'smooshy' should be fine in the bigger format.
I hope you can figure out what all of the food is! Most of them I had to make myself as there are not a lot of public domain simple line drawings out there. I tried to bring it down to a simple form but some images needed extra lines in them. Although once I put the scribbles in I may have to take them out. It's a learning process.
And I just realized I didn't add any herbs or spices [face-plant] so I WILL be adding and omitting some images.
